Christmas Time on Disney Avenue

By Keith Mahne

Friends, it's finally the most wonderful time of the year again here on Disney Avenue. I wanted to wish everyone a joyous Holiday Season and also fill you in on some fun, holiday traditions that occur each December here on the site. Please join me after the page break and I'll fill you in on all the holiday excitement that is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit...

There are a few, fun traditions that take place here on Disney Avenue during the holidays to tell you about. First, we just added our brand new Christmas Banner and a big thank you goes out to the amazingly talented Brian Vermillion for his work on it. I hope you all like it as much as we do. Can you find the Hidden Mickey...

Next up, in case you didn't notice by now or you aren't reading this from our desktop version of the site, we just uploaded our magical Disney Avenue "Christmas" Music Player. It still includes all of your favorite Disney tunes that you can hear all year long, but now the first 9 songs are Christmas tunes from around the Parks and Resorts that is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit while you spend some time here on Disney Avenue. Feel free to stop here first and leave the tab open while you explore the internet and all your other favorite Disney sites. Simply click on the playlist tab on the top right-hand side of the page and scroll down through the first 9 tracks for hours of wonderful Disney holiday music. The Music Player isn't set on random as it usually is, so please be sure to scroll through the playlist on each of your visits to hear new holiday tunes. Let me just tell you, if I am sitting at my computer, you can bet I'm listening to the Disney Avenue Music Player. Also, I always like to remind our new members that the Music Player is only accessible from a desktop or lap top computer. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with a mobile device or tablet at this time.

Lastly, be sure to stay tuned all December long for some amazing Christmas posts, pictures, podcasts and videos. To quote a line from that great Kenny Rodgers and Dolly Parton song, it really is going to be, "A Christmas to Remember"...

...that song is NOT in the playlist by the way, I just couldn't resist getting a little cheesy. :-D

Happy Holidays everyone and I hope to see you around the site and on the Disney Avenue Facebook Page where I'll be posting some wonderful Disney Christmas photos that I know you'll love. See ya real soon...
