Music from Disney's Aulani Resort Now Streaming

By Keith Mahne

One of the best things about being at a Disney Resort is the unique area music playing around the property. Much like the beautifully themed architecture Disney Imagineers use to create their resorts, the area music heard throughout plays an important role in transporting guests to truly magical places. One of the best area music loops can be found at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai‘i. Join us today and take a listen for yourself...

Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa is the third Disney Resort built separate from a Disney theme park and the first to built in the beautiful state of Hawaii. When the resort was being planned, Disney turned to the man who always captures the feel of whatever project he is working on perfectly – Joe Rhode, Executive Designer and Vice President, Creative for Walt Disney Imagineering. Joe was actually raised in Hawaii, so he already had the Island life ingrained in him, which is very evident for anyone who has visited Aulani.

The Imagineers knew they needed some special area music for their new Hawaiian resort and so they had all original Hawaiian versions of classic Disney songs created. The result is absolutely wonderful. It takes the soothing and relaxing vibes of Polynesian style music and mixed it with all of our favorite Disney classics. Take a listen for yourself in the track below...

(For your listening pleasure, be sure to pause the Disney Avenue Music Player located above prior to starting the track below if you are on a desktop computer.)
